Going into his bout with Antonio Margarito few observers were giving Sugar Shane Mosley much of a chance and not without good reason. After all, Miguel Cotto had already beaten Mosley and yet he looked powerless against the iron-jawed Mexican. Cotto hit him with everything but a baseball bat and was never able to neutralize the relentless pressure applied by Margarito. Following the fight, an aura of invincibility surrounded Margarito, and many felt Shane would suffer a similar fate as his promoter Oscar De La Hoya had when he was bludgeoned by Manny Pacquiao a month earlier. Not only were people refusing to give Shane a chance to win, the majority doubted whether he could even make it competitive.."

Cotto vs. Foreman Yankee Stadium tickets go on sale today April 16 � Now Boxing

"The WBA 154-pound title fight between champion Yuri Foreman and challenger Miguel Cotto who’ll be making his junior middleweight debut will takes place at Yankee Stadium on June 5th. The fight is being promoted by Bob Arum’s Top Rank and will broadcast by HBO sports. Tickets to the Cotto vs. Foreman fight will go on sale today Friday, April 16, 2010 at Noon. Miguel Cotto is a two weight division champion who is coming off a knockout loss to Manny Pacquiao, and looks to win a third title in a different weight division when he faces Foreman on June 5.

Yuri Foreman won the WBA 154-pound title (his first championship title) on against Daniel Santos on the under-card of Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto and is the only current Jewish boxing champion.

Arum is looking to accommodate at least 30,000 fight fans to Yankee Stadium to witness this event.
